John Abraham injured while shooting an action sequence

Bollywood hunk John Abraham has given some major blockbuster in 2018 with ‘Parmanu – The Story Of Pokhran’ and ‘Satyameva Jayate’. The actor is all set to do the same this year. At present, he is shooting for Anees Bazmee’s ‘Pagalpanti’. But, during the shooting schedule, of the film the actor suffered a muscle tear and has been advised two weeks of bed rest.

As per a report in Mumbai Mirror, John was shooting in Mehboob Studios when the incident took place. The action scene involved a truck on which John was shooting. Unfortunately, John suffered a muscle tear in his arm which has rendered him out of action. The last part of the film was being shot when the accident took place. The actor has been advised two weeks of rest by the doctors. His co-stars Anil Kapoor, Arshad Warsi, Pulkit Samrat, Ileana D’Cruz and Kriti Kharbanda were also part of the shoot when the incident took place.

Confirming the news producer Kumar Mangat said, “It was a simple shot, but mistiming caused the injury. He added that they will be taking a call after a week about when to start filming again keeping in mind John’s recovery.”

Pagalpanti’s major portions have been shot in London and Leeds. It also stars Anil Kapoor, Ileana D’Cruz, Arshad Warsi, Kriti Kharbanda and Pulkit Samrat. It is produced by Bhushan Kumar, Kumar Mangat, and Abhishek Pathak. It is slated for release on December 6, 2019.
