Adeeb Rais’ film, Kaali Peeli features Vinay Pathak, Sayani Gupta, Gauahar Khan, Sharib Hashmi, Priyanshu Painyuli, Soni Razdan and Sadiya Siddqui in the key roles. The official trailer has been unleased on Tuesday(August 17) and it is set in the backdrop of six stories tracing the modern day love. The anthology to trace many emotions involved in the new age love stories.
The stories are set in Mumbai and many of them start unfolding in a black-and-yellow taxi, probably this is the reason why film’s title is Kaali Peeli (Black Yellow). Filmmaker Adeeb Rais has put together six short stories, which have one thing in common how love stories bloom in 21th century. The makers tried to highlight romance, marriage, infidelity, homosexuality, forgiveness and divorce and many other things through the tales. It gives a broad perspective of what challenges couple face while being in love in this era.

Reportedly, while talking about Kaali Peeli, the director Adeeb said, “Each of the six stories in the anthology present a different shade of love and relationships. From new love to rekindling a marriage, from infidelity to divorce, each story will take viewers on an entertainment journey replete with multiple emotions. Along with the stellar ensemble cast, the city of Mumbai adds an interesting dimension to each of these stories.”
