The theatrical trailer of Suriya and Mohanlal starrer Kaappaan is finally unveiled by the makers. It is full of action, emotion and romance with a sprinkling of comedy too. The film is South superstar Suriya’s third collaboration with cinematographer-turned-director KV Anand after ‘Ayan’ (2009) and ‘Maattrraan'(2012).

In the trailer, Suriya known for his Singham roles is seen performing some deadly stunts and also easily managing to romance the leading lady with some foot-tapping numbers in beautiful locales.
Suriya plays a member of the Special Protection Group, one of the country’s top security forces tasked with the responsibility of protecting powerful personalities> He is assigned the task of protecting the Prime Minister played by South megastar Mohanlal. This nail-biting action thriller also showcases how Mohanlal essaying the role of the country’s Prime Minister escapes a deadly bomb in the trailer.
The movie also features Arya, Sayyeshaa and Boman Irani among others.
Kaappaan is set to hit the screens on September 20.
