Bollywood filmmaker, Karan Johar was in the radar after one of the politicians had accused celebs of consuming drugs in a 2019 viral video from his party. Now, according to the latest reports, the Narcotic Control Bureau has given a clean chit to the filmmaker over the viral video.

A few months ago, Shiromani Akali Dal (SAD) leader Manjinder Singh Sirsa had filed a complaint with the NCB on Karan Johar viral party video. He had alleged that the celebs who appear in the video had consumed the drugs at the party. But as per recent report, the NCB has given a clean chit to the filmmaker.

According to the latest report in Zee News, the NCB officials have given a clean chit over the viral party video, which was shot by Karan Johar in 2019 during his house party. The NCB did not find anything suspicious and the much talked about ‘white line’ in the video has been ruled out as a mere reflection of the tube light.

The ‘Kalank’ producer is among the list of celebs to speak up against social media trolling and the portals which had dragged his names in the drug case alongside other celebs. He alleged them to be reporting without concrete evidence. He had also shared his official clarification on the then viral video stating that he does not consume any narcotic substances and celebs were not consuming drugs at his party.
