Ever since the debacle of Shah Rukh Khan’s Zero, fans have been eagerly waiting to watch the superstar back on the big screen. There have been ample speculations regarding Shah Rukh Khan’s upcoming film but the actor yet to confirm any of them.
According to the latest buzz, Shah Rukh will next be seen in South director Atlee’s next or Rajkumar Hirani’s upcoming film. There have been rumours suggesting that SRK and Kajol will reunite for Rajkumar Hirani’s film. Yesterday, Kajol reportedly dismissed the report saying that she has not been approached for the film. There were reports also doing the rounds on social media that SRK and Kareena Kapoor Khan will team up for Sanju director’s next project. When Kareena Kapoor Khan was asked about the same, she told Mumbai Mirror, “No, that’s not true. I love and respect Shah Rukh immensely and would love to work with him again. But there’s nothing happening at the moment.”
As per the buzz, Raj Kumar Hirani’s film will be extensively shot in Gujarat, London and Canada.
Meanwhile, on the work front, Kareena Kapoor has multiple projects lined up ahead. The actress was last seen in Raj Mehta’s Good Newwz alongside Akshay Kumar, has now collaborated with Aamir Khan for Laal Singh Chaddha, which is an official adaptation of Tom Hanks’ film, Forrest Gump.
Directed by Advait Chandan, Laal Singh Chaddha is scheduled to hit the screens on Christmas this year.
Kareena Kapoor will also be seen in Homi Adajania’s Angrezi Medium alongside Irrfan Khan and Radhika Madan and in Karan Johar’s Takht which also features Ranveer Singh, Alia Bhatt, Janhvi Kapoor, Vicky Kaushal, Anil Kapoor and Bhumi Pednekar in pivotal roles.
