Actor Kartik Aaryan was busy with the shoot of his upcoming releases ‘Bhool Bhulaiyaa’ and ‘Dostana 2’. But due to the ongoing COVID-19 Pandemic, the movies are presently on hold. Rumours abounded that the Pyar Ka Punchnama actor was looking for a quick project. Apparently, his wish has been granted by none other than Shah Rukh Khan. Kartik is reportedly all set to join hands with the Badshah for his next project.
As reported by sources to Bollywood Hungama, Kartik Aaryan seems to have locked his next film. It’s said to be an unusual love story produced by Shah Rukh Khan under his banner, Red Chillies Entertainment. The movie will be directed by Ajay Bahl.
Sources reported to Bollywood Hungama that Kartik Aaryan has been in talks with Shah Rukh Khan’s banner for this Ajay Bahl directed movie for a while now. Finally, as everything has fallen in place, the actor will start shooting for the film within the next 2 months. The movie is said to be a romantic drama completely different from Ajay’s last film Section 375.
Sources added that though the latest movie also has an underlying social message. It is more of a rom-com. The makers are currently busy with the casting of the film and also on the lookout for the female lead.
On the work front, Kartik Aaryan recently wrapped up shooting for Ram Madhavani’s ‘Dhamaka’. The movie is a remake of a Korean film, The Terror Live. It is now gearing for a direct digital release on Netflix.
