Bollywood actresses Katrina Kaif and Deepika Padukone had not shared a friendly equation for long.The reason behind their animosity was Ranbir Kapoor. But at present, the Divas have put an end to all the rumours of discomfort when Kat attended DeepVeer wedding and bonded high time with them.
Recently in an interview to Mumbai Mirror Katrina Kaif opened up on her equation with Deepika and Ranveer Singh.
On being asked about Ranveer being her ‘good friend,’ she said, “He is such a darling! Life can get a little heavy at times and holding on to grudges makes the burden heavier. If you can let go of the past, let it go. I have because I want friends around me…I want happiness and positivity.”
She also opened up on her role in Salman Khan starrer ‘Bharat’ and said, “The best thing about my friendship with Ali is that we don’t hold each other to account for anything. It’s not as if either of us feels bad if we choose to work with someone else so there’s never the burden of expectancy. I know he will come to me if he has something interesting. This time it was somewhat different because Priyanka had been signed for the role earlier. But this is Ali’s best script so far and Kumud’s character was just right for the person I am today. So, I grabbed the opportunity and immersed myself into the role. I had two months to prep and I used every minute of it. Bharat has been one of my most inspiring experiences at work.”
A few months ago, rumour mills were doing the rounds of Kat might essay the role of Ranveer’s on-screen wife for Kabir Khan’s ’83’ biopic.
But there has been no confirmation of the same as yet.
