KBC 13: Himani Bundela, First Visually Impaired Contestant to Win Rs 1 Crore

Agra’s Himani Bundela became the first crorepati of Kaun Banega Crorepati 13. The visually impaired contestant will be answering the jackpot question for Rs 7 crore on Tuesday. Himani Bundela took over the hot seat on Monday. The 25-year-old visually impaired lady did not let it dampen her spirit went on to create history in the new season.

After her big win, the teacher from Agra called it a surreal moment. She further added that when Big B announced that she has won Rs 1 crore, she wanted time to just halt.

Sony TV dropped the latest promo, on its official social media handles where Amitabh Bachchan asking her the jackpot question for Rs 7 crore.

In the promo, Himani and Big B are seen celebrating after she wins Rs 1 crore and proceeds to play for Rs 7 crore. She will be the first contestant to attempt the jackpot question this season. The episodes featuring Himani will air on Sony TV on August 30 and 31.

Himani Bundela met with an accident in 2011. She lost her vision over time due to the accident. But the brave heart never let the setback affect her. Today she teaches Mental Maths to students. Himani wants to utilise her prize money for a noble cause. She aims to start inclusive training for differently-abled students. She also wants to set up a business for her father. He has lost his job during the pandemic.
