Kriti Sanon tests negative for COVID-19; thanks BMC officials for help

After Varun Dhawan, Neetu Kapoor, Maniesh Paul, and the ‘Good Newwz’ director Raj Mehta, Kriti Sanon had tested positive for the deadly Coronavirus a few weeks back. Now, the actress took to her social media handle and updated her fans that she has tested negative.

The ‘Luka Chuppi’ actress shared a note that read as: “Happy to inform everyone that i have finally tested Negative for COVID-19! A big thank you to @mybmc officials, respected Assistant commissioner @mybmcwardKW Mr. Vishwas Mote and my doctor for all the help & assistance.🙏🏻 And thank you all for the warm wishes and the love❤️❤️”

The actress was shooting in Chandigarh with Rajkummar Rao for her upcoming Dinesh Vijan’s film, and she made her way back to Mumbai to quarantine herself and rest. Sanon confirmed the news and wrote, “I’d like to inform everyone that I have tested positive for Covid 19. There’s absolutely nothing to worry as I’m feeling fine and have quarantined myself as per BMC and my doctor’s advice. So I’m gonna ride this ride, rest it out and resume work soon. Till then, I’m reading all the warm wishes and they seem to be working. Be safe guys, the pandemic hasn’t gone yet!”

On the work front, the ‘Heropanti’ actress was last seen in the 2019 war drama film, ‘Panipat’, which also featured Arjun Kapoor and Sanjay Dutt. Next, she will be seen next in, the drama film, ‘Mimi’, directed by Laxman Utekar and produced by Dinesh Vijan of Maddock Films, alongside Sai Tamhankar and Pankaj Tripathi.
