The deadly coronavirus is spreading rapidly, as the entertainment industry has resumed back to the shooting, many celebrities have contracted the virus. Recently, Varun Dhawan, Neetu Kapoor, and Jug Jug Jeeyo director Raj Mehta tested positive. Now, the latest reports state that Kriti Sanon has also tested positive.
The Luka Chuppi actress was shooting for her upcoming Dinesh Vijan’s film with Rajkummar Rao in Chandigarh, she also shared an Instagram story which read, “And its a wrap for me.. Bye bye Chandigarh Excited to get back home!” Now, according to Bollywood Hungama reports apparently the actress has contracted the deadly virus. However, it has not yet been confirmed by her..
Meanwhile, when she returned to Mumbai, she was being snapped by paparazzi photographers and they asked her to remove her mask ‘for a minute’ so that they can click her photo, but, she refused to do so and said, ‘ek minute ke liye bhi nahi utaroongi.’
On the work front, Kriti was last seen in the 2019 war drama film, Panipat, alongside Arjun Kapoor and Sanjay Dutt. She will be seen next in, the drama film, Mimi, which is directed by Laxman Utekar and produced by Dinesh Vijan of Maddock Films. The film is a remake of the 2011 Marathi-language film Mala Aai Vhhaychy! alongside Sai Tamhankar and Pankaj Tripathi. Earlier, the film was scheduled to release in mid-2020, but post-production was delayed due to the COVID-19 pandemic in India.
