Rumours of Kartik Aaryan being roped in for the remake of Allu Arjun’s hit flick Ala Vaikunthapurramuloo have been on for a long now. As per the latest buzz, the makers are in talks with Kriti Sanon to reprise Pooja Hegde’s role. Kartik Aaryan and Kriti Sanon had come together for the 2019 hit flick Luka Chuppi. If the reports do come true then apparently the duo all set to share screen space once again.
As reported by sources to Pinkvilla, “The Kriti-Kartik pairing won acclaim from all quarters and that’s the reason why the makers are keen to have them back together in this Rohit Dhawan directed film. Though the actress too is keen to come on board the film, she is currently working on her date diary as team Ala Vaikunthapurramuloo is keen to take their adaptation on floors from June.”
Sources further added Kriti is expected to commence her work on Ganpath alongside Tiger Shroff in the same time frame. If things don’t work out, it will be only due to the clash of dates, as barring that, everyone is on the same page with respect to the script, character, financials and all other factors. Kriti is trying to balance and come on board this film.”
Kriti Sanon is currently in Arunachal Pradesh, shooting Bhediya. The horror-comedy has Varun Dhawan as the male lead. The month-long schedule ends by early April. The actress will next start work on Prabhas starrer Adipurush. Kriti is playing the role of Sita to Prabhas Ram.
