Recently Lakshmi Manchu had urged the Telangana Government to impose a lockdown in the state to curb the rising cases of coronavirus. She took to social media and wrote, “Dear @telanganaCMO, with due respect, I hope you consider our requests for a short lockdown in the state. This would be the only way to ease out the pressure on our frontline workers too (sic).”
On Tuesday, the Telangana government announced that there will be a 10-day lockdown across the state starting from May 12.
The Thalaiva is currently in Hyderabad for the shooting of his upcoming film, Annaatthe. The makers had begun shooting for the film from April 12. They have wrapped the Hyderabad schedule.
Annaatthe is a rural entertainer starring Rajinikanth, Nayanthara, Keerthy Suresh, Meena, Khushbu, Prakash Raj and Soori in lead roles. It will hit the theatres on November 4 worldwide.
