This Friday, the social media was abuzz with Alia Bhatt and Pooja Bhatt’s father and filmmaker Mahesh Bhatt’s death rumours. Rumours abounded that the filmmaker has passed away after a massive heart attack. Soon daughter Pooja Bhatt was flooded with condolence messages from fans and friends. The actress cum producer finally took to her Twitter handle to post pictures of her ‘Fit’ father and rubbished the death hoax going around.
Pooja shared that her father is very much alive and is ‘his usual self, living dangerously and kicking’.

She shared two pictures of Mahesh sitting in the living room. Pooja also joked about how he would be the one to outlive all of them.
On the work front, After a gap of nearly 20 years, Mahesh Bhatt has once again donned the director’s hat for Sadak 2, The movie featuring Sanjay Dutt, Pooja Bhatt, Alia Bhatt and Aditya Rou Kapur has already completed the Mysore leg of the shoot.
Pooja wrote an Instagram post in praise of her father and how he had ignited a “fire” in her team.
Sadak 2 is a sequel of Mahesh’s 1991 hit Sadak and is scheduled to release on July 10 next year.
