Uttarakhand Glacier Burst Cause A Massive Flood; 100-150 People Missing In Chamoli District

In an unfortunate turn of events today, a massive part of the Nanda Devi glacier broke off in Uttarakhand. The incident resulted into a huge damage in Chamoli District alongside causing the floods in downside areas near the mountain. Reportedly, around a round 100-150 people already went missing right after the glacier burst and officials are on duty for rescue mission.

This glacier burst triggered the flood in the Dhauli Ganga river. Residential houses which were along the way swept away after the water rushed through the slop area. Reportedly, officials have already issued an alert to the neighbouring areas of Uttar Pradesh. Uttarakhand CM Trivendra Singh Rawat took to his Twitter handle and urged netizens to avoid spreading rumors.
