Actor’s Sanya Malhotra and Abhimanyu Dassani have come together for the romantic comedy Meenakshi Sundareshwar. The makers have shared the trailer of the film today, October 21. The trailer showcases a modern couple’s struggle to survive a long-distance marriage.
Karan Johar took to social media to share the trailer of the movie. He wrote, “All ‘hearts’ on deck – it’s time to root for this power couple to make it through the distance! This Diwali, gather around #MeenakshiSundareshwar coming to Netflix on November 5.”

The trailer gives a glimpse of how Meenakshi and Sundareshwar meet for the first time through their families. The couple soon ties the knot and Abhimanyu takes off to Bangalore for his job. Whereas Sanya is stuck at home in Madurai. The story of the film is based around a couple who struggles to keep love alive during their long-distance marriage.
A few days back Sanya has shared the poster of the film. Sanya wrote, “Chahe distance long ho ya short, sab cheezein workout ho jaati hai agar pyaar ho toh. So taiyaar ho jaiye Sundareshwar aur meri pyaar bhari ye long distance marriage dekhne ke liye #MeenakshiSundaresheswar coming to Netflix on November 5 (sic).”
Directed by Vivek Soni, the film is produced by Dharmatic Entertainment and Netflix together. Meenakshi Sundareshwar is all set to premiere on Netflix on Diwali, i.e, November 5, 2021.
