Microsoft End Support For Fitness Tracking Services, Offers Refund Till August 2019

Microsoft announced the end of support for its app services associated with fitness tracking. Health Dashboard is an online service that offers users to track down their daily fitness activities using Microsoft Band 1 and 2. The services will be shut down by May 31, users will be still able to use a band for alarms and tracking daily health data.

Microsoft is offering a discount for Band 1 that cost $79.99 and Band 2 that cost $172. All associated apps with Microsoft Health Dashboard site will be pulled down from Microsoft Store, Google Play and Apple App store.

The Microsoft Health Dashboard applications and services are being discontinued and will no longer be available after 5/31/2019. Microsoft Band device users can continue to use their devices, though web-connected features will not be available.

Those who are frequently using the Health Dashboard site can export their stats using the export tool under profile picture until March 5. Any data after that will be deleted. Microsoft Band will no long support web connected features, but still, users can use it for daily health information, set alarm, activity data and sleep analytics.

Microsoft announced through its blogspot about the closure of service, you can claim the refund by August 2019.
