Milind Soman REACTS on being booked for his ‘obscene’ picture, says “I have no official notification”

On November 5, Milind Soman was booked under IPC section 294 (Obscene acts and songs) and section 67 (Punishment for publishing/transmitting obscene material in electronic form) of the IT Act by the South Goa Police for his social media post, in which, he was seen running naked on a Goa beach.

Pankaj Kumar Singh, Superintendent of Police South Goa told ANI, “An organization called Goa Suraksha Manch had given a complaint against Soman for running nude on a beach in South Goa and then circulating those pictures on social media.”

The actor-model is currently promoting his upcoming ALT Balaji show ‘Paurushpur’, during the same, he reacted to being booked and denied receiving any official notification, “I don’t know if anyone has filed a complaint. No one told me about it and I have no official notification,” he told Peeping Moon.

Further, talking about his nude picture, he stated, “I have been doing nude photoshoots for many years. When I first did it, I was in the news. Even before that, I had done nude photoshoots. Every time it’s a different reaction. What is a naked person? The way God has made us. Not like we cannot see nude people on the internet. On Instagram, there are many nude photos. Everybody has their own dreams.”

Talking about ‘Paurushpur,’ the web-series also stars Shilpa Shinde, Annu Kapoor, Shaheer Sheikh, Sahil Salathia, Poulomi Das, Anantvijay Joshi, Flora Saini, and Aditya Lal among others. It is set to premiere on ALTBalaji and ZEE5 on December 29.
