A major (level-4) fire has broken out today (February 17, 2020) at GST Bhavan at Maharana Pratap Chowk in Mumbai’s Byculla area. Multiple Fire tenders have been rushed to douse the fire.
According to reports, the fire broke on the 8th floor of the GST Bhavan in Mumbai’s Byculla area and engulfed the 9th floor as well. Initially, Mumbai’s Fire Brigade officials called it a level-2 fire but later it escalated to level-4.
According to reports, fire in Mumbai’s GST Bhavan broke around 12:30 pm. The reason behind the fire is yet to be known. As per the Fire Brigade, no one is injured or trapped inside the building.
