Mumbai Police’s funny take on Ajay Devgn’s lockdown tweet is making internet smile

Mumbai Police’s Twitter handle often wins hearts over the internet with their funny and witty tweets. Recently Bollywood’s Singham Ajay Devgn praised the Men in Uniform for their selfless service amid the COVID-19 lockdown. Mumbai police had recently tweeted a video, that showed that for us to be safe, there are thousands in the police force who are out there on the streets taking the risk. The tweet read, “Feel that the lockdown is just too long? Guess what we would’ve done had we been home? #MumbaiFirst #TakingOnCorona”

The ‘Singham’ actor took to Twitter to share the video by the Mumbai Police which urged people to stay at home as the same is a luxury for the police officials who are currently at the frontline to combat COVID-19.

He got a witty response from the Mumbai police that consisted of some of the major hit films of the much-loved actor.

“Dear ‘Singham’, just doing what ‘Khakee’ is supposed to do to ensure that things return to how they were – ‘Once upon a time in Mumbai’! #TakingOnCorona,” tweeted Mumbai Police.
