Bollywood actor Navtej Hundal has passed away on Monday evening. The actor was last seen in Vicky Kaushal starrer ‘Uri – The Surgical Strike’ depicting the role of the home minister in the Aditya Dhar war drama. The news of his demise was confirmed by the official Twitter handle of the Cine And TV Artistes’ Association (CINTAA).

The cause of his death is not known.
According to a report in Indian Express, Navtej is survived by his wife and two daughters. One of his daughters is actor Avantika Hundal, who is currently seen as Mihika in the popular daily soap ‘Yeh Hai Mohabbatein’, featuring Karan Patel and Divyanka Tripathi.
Navtej had also worked in Bollywood films including ‘Khalnayak’, ‘Tere Mere Sapne’ and ‘The Whisperers’. Apart from working in films, Navtej also conducted acting classes. He has been a part of television shows such as ‘Bharat Ek Khoj’
