The Narcotics Control Bureau (NCB) has reportedly booked television actors Sanam Johar and Abigail Pande for alleged consumption of drugs. The actors were earlier summoned after being named by Anuj Keshwani and Ankush Arenja during the NCB investigation. Abigail and Sanam’s residence in Juhu (Mumbai) was also raided on Wednesday by the NCB. A small number of drugs were recovered from their home, both actors have been booked for the consumption of drugs.
As reported by TimesNow, “The couple has been booked under Section 20 of the Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substances Act. It is being reported that while the two haven’t been arrested, the NCB will summon them for further questioning in the said case. The report also added that the two actors have “revealed a lot of information” to the NCB.”
As per a Republic World report, Abigail has named two prominent TV actors: Sara Khan and Angad Hasija in the drug network. The Bidaai co-stars will be summoned by the NCB for further probe.
The NCB is currently probing a probable drug angle in the Sushant Singh Rajput case. The drug angle was revealed during the interrogation of Sushant’s girlfriend Rhea Chakraborty. The actress, her brother Showik Chakraborty and a few more are currently in judicial custody.
During the course of interrogation names of popular Bollywood celebs such as Sara Ali Khan, Deepika Padukone, Shraddha Kapoor, Rakul Preet Singh and many more have also tumbled out. Apparently many names from television too are on NCB’s radar.
