Nokia has started pre-booking of its new handset Nokia X7 in China today. It is also known as Nokia 7.1 plus. The shipping of the phone will be started next week. The phone comes at a more affordable price than it was expected, it has been priced at Rs 18,000 for 4GB + 64GB variant.
The device Nokia X7 has been announced highlighting a big 6.18-inch screen with HMD PureDisplay technology and HDR 10. It support and a Snapdragon 710 chipset, among other things.
Nokia X7 packs a 6.18-inch notched screen with 1080p+ resolution and good parameters: 500 nits brightness, 1,500:1 contrast, 96% NTSC colour gamut coverage and DCI-P3 support.
For the 6GB + 64GB version you will have to pay Rs 21,200 and Rs 26,600 for the 6GB + 128GB variant. The device has not been launched in India, it is only launched in China so far. The company is likely to launch in India soon.
Nokia X7 brings a design language that is a combination of the Nokia 6.1 Plus and the Nokia 7 Plus. It gets an edge-to-edge display with a notch and a chin. The edges are chamfered and the Series 6000 aluminium frame is flat much like the Nokia 7 Plus that was launched earlier this year. The device also gets silver/ copper accents around the rear camera, fingerprint sensor and the frame.
Nokia 7.1 Plus comes with a premium look thanks to a 2.5D curved glass on the back. The rear panel sees a pill-shaped dual camera setup vertically placed just above the fingerprint sensor.
Nokia 7.1 Plus gets Zeiss-branded optics on the back much like the Nokia 7.1 and 7 Plus. The dual camera system has a 13-megapixel primary IMX363 sensor with f/1.8 aperture and 1.4-micron pixels and a 12-megapixel secondary sensor. The Nokia 7.1 Plus gets a 20-megapixel selfie camera with f/2.0 aperture and 1.8-micron pixels.
