After delivering several hit movies including ‘Akaash Vani’ (2013), ‘Pyaar Ka Punchnama 2’ (2015), and ‘Sonu Ke Titu Ki Sweety’ (2018), Nushrat Bharucha will next be seen opposite Ayushmann Khurana in ‘Dream Girl’. Unlike her previous roles, Nushrat Bharucha will be sporting a completely desi look. In the film, she will impress her boyfriend with her culinary skills.
In this romantic comedy, Nushrat Bharucha will play a home science student in a college located in Mathura. ‘Dream Girl’ is directed by Raaj Shaandilyaa and is co-produced by Ekta Kapoor and Shobha Kapoor under their banner Balaji Motion Pictures.
According to a report in Mumbai Mirror, the ‘Pyaar Ka Punchnama’ girl has recently filmed for a big Janmashtami song with ‘Andhadhun’ actor. The song ‘Radhe Radhe’ was choreographed by Ganesh Acharya and was shot on a lavish scale over three days with 500 back up dancers.
The publication quoted a source close to the Raaj Shaandilyaa directorial saying, “Nushrat Bharucha will be seen speaking in a Braj accent.”
“The shooting has wrapped up except for one promotional song which will be choreographed by Ahmed Khan in a Mumbai studio in April. Besides the lead pair, it also features Annu Kapoor and Manjot Singh with Ayushmann in a female avatar,” the source told the leading tabloid.
Apart from ‘Dream Girl’, Nushrat Bharucha will be sharing screen space with Rajkummar Rao in Hansal Mehta’s comedy, ‘Turram Khan’ and Ayushmann Khurana will be seen in Anubhav Sinha’s ‘Article 15’.
