A Pakistani media channel was heavily trolled ‘on social media after it incorrectly typed ‘Beijing’ as ‘Begging’ while live-telecasting an event from China that featured Pakistan Prime Minister Imran Khan.

Pakistan Television Corporation (PTV) broadcasting channel was broadcasting the show live when it goofed up the dateline as typed ‘Beijing’ wrongly as ‘Begging’. Ironically, as the stated by The Indian Express, Khan during his visit to China had sought for financial support from Beijing.

The news channel immediately noticed goof up and addressed the issue. They took to Twitter to later clarify that it was a “typographical error” and that they have initiated “strict action” against those responsible for the act.

The video had gone viral by then on social media. It showed Khan addressing an event at the Central Party School in Beijing. It was live-telecasted by PTV when suddenly the dateline on the top left corner of the screen read “Begging” instead of “Beijing”.
