Pakistan PM Imran Khan wishes Narendra Modi on his win

Prime Minister Narendra Modi led Bharatiya Janata Party’s win is obvious and after a few hours, the results will be out. The NDA government is leading with more than 300 seats and as the news of Modi’s victory is confirmed, many political leaders and bureaucrats from across the world are congratulating Modi on his second term. Also, Prime Minister of Pakistan Imran Khan took to his micro-blogging site Twitter to wish the PM.

Congratulating Modi, Imran Khan wrote, “I congratulate Prime Minister Modi on the electoral victory of BJP and allies. Look forward to working with him for peace, progress and prosperity in South Asia.”

Imran must be happy on Narendra Modi’s feat as he wanted BJP to win the Lok Sabha Election 2019. The PM of Pakistan thinks that Modi’s win will help for more peace talks.

Earlier he told in a press meet, “Perhaps if the BJP (Bharatiya Janata Party)….wins, some kind of settlement in Kashmir could be reached.”

We also hope that the peace talks between Imran Khan and Narendra Modi will clear all the differences and the Indo-Pakistan ties will be for the betterment of both the countries.

Other political leaders including Russia’s President Vladimir Putin, Afghanistan President Ashraf Ghani, Prime Minister of Nepal KP Sharma, Japanese PM Shinzō Abe, China’s Prime Minister Xi Jinping, Prime Minister of Israel, Benjamin Netanyahu and Sri Lankan Prime Minister Ranil Wickremesinghe also wished Narendra Modi on his victory.
