Pawandeep Rajan Emerges As Winner Of ‘Indian Idol 12’

On Sunday night, Uttarakhand’s Pawandeep Rajan won the 12th season of the singing reality show, ‘Indian Idol’. The singer lifted the trophy along with Rs 25 lakh cash prize. While Arunita Kanjilal and Sayli Kamble were announced as the runners-up of the show.

The official Twitter handle of Sony TV shared the photo of Pawandeep along with the trophy and wrote: “Jinki kismat mein likhi thi jeet, jinke taaron mein likha tha khitaab, unn #IdolPawandeep ko jeet ka salaam! CONGRATULATIONS #IdolPawandeep for the epic win, you have made history! India loves you!!!

The singer also spoke to The Times Of India after his big win and stated that he was not feeling very great about it. “I did not think much during the final moments. There was only one thing in my mind that whoever wins the show, the trophy will come to one of the friends. Because we all are one big family. In fact, when I got the trophy I was not feeling very great because all of us were deserving. We all have planned to work together in future and we will be in contact with each other even after the show.”

He also shared that his mom was crying as he lifted the trophy and a few of his friends also visited hi and they all were happy and excited.
