Fans were over the moon to see their favourite star spreading his charm across the cricket ground with his hilarious antics. His stint as a commentator garnered much appreciation and attention at ICC Cricket World Cup 2019.
His quirky attire also broke the Internet, becoming a top trend on Twitter. He was dressed in a brown checkered long overcoat, a color-coordinated muffler and relaxed loose fit parallel trousers in the same shade. The actor completed his look using over-sized glasses.

On the work front, Ranveer is all set to play former captain Kapil Dev in ’83’. The Kabir Khan directorial also tells the story of the Indian cricket team’s victory in the World Cup in 1983. The actor has been joined by his wife Deepika Padukone in the sports drama. She is depicting the role of Kapil Dev’s wife Romi Dev in the biopic.
’83’, which also features Deepika Padukone, Saqib Saleem, Harrdy Sandhu and Chirag Patil in pivotal roles. It is set to hit the screens on April 10, 2020.
Ranveer Singh also has Karan Johar’s period drama ‘Takht’ in his kitty. The movie that is based on the Mughal history also features Vicky Kaushal, Kareena Kapoor, Janhvi Kapoor, Bhumi Pednekar, Anil Kapoor and Alia Bhatt in pivotal roles.
