naga shaurya hyderabad farmhouse raided

Young Telugu actor Naga Shaurya is hitting the headlines for the wrong reasons. As per Gulte.com, Hyderabad police raided a farmhouse that is allegedly owned by the Tollywood hero. Reportedly the police detained more than 20 people some of them known names.

The SOT police, apparently, got a major tip that a gambling game is taking place at a farmhouse in Manchirevula near Outer Ring Road (ORR). They raided the farmhouse and arrested Sumanth Chowdhary for gambling with 24 others at Naga Shaurya’s farmhouse. He is said to be the main person who had organized the poker play at the farmhouse. Cash worth Rs 6 lakhs along with mobile phones, swiping machines, playing cards, and poker chips were seized in the farmhouse.

Shaurya’s Babai Bujji’s name has popped up in this issue and so further investigations will be done at this front too. The detainees will be sent to remand as per the court directions, informed a police official. The police are also probing whether the actor is also directly involved in gambling activities.

Naga Shaurya and his family are not the owners of the farmhouse. They have leased out the property for five years from an IAS officer.

Naga Shaurya’s movie Varudu Kaavelenu was released last weekend. The Telugu-language romantic comedy film was directed by debutant Lakshmi Sowjanya and produced by Suryadevara Naga Vamsi under the banner of Sithara Entertainments. Ritu Varma played the female lead. The film is doing decent collections at the box office.
