Pooja Hegde applied in Miss India 2009 but could not qualify till the finale. She again applied in 2010 and was crowned the runner up at Miss India Universe. She then went on to act in the films from the Deccan kingdom.
Pooja Hegde debut in Bollywood in 2016 with Mohenjodaro opposite Hrithik Roshan. Inspite of the film flunking at the box office, she garnered a lot of praises and good wishes. The actress has walked for several brands and has also been a part of the Lakme Fashion Week.
