Celebrated actress Priyanka Chopra and American singer Nick Jonas are getting engaged today and are all set to throw a grand engagement party for family and friends in Mumbai. Jonas reached Mumbai along with his parents on Friday.
Though the official guest list for the grand party is not out yet, it is expected that Ranveer Singh, Karan Johar, Raveena Tandon, Parineeti Chopra, Manish Malhotra, Sophie Choudry and Mukesh Ambani might attend the party. However, there are others who might not make it citing personal reasons or work commitments.
Superstars Salman Khan and Shah Rukh Khan are among the ones who will not make to the party. Salman is currently shooting for Bharat in Malta and Shah Rukh is busy with the shooting of his upcoming film Zero. Also, Katrina Kaif too would not be able to attend the party as she is busy with the shooting of Ali Abbas Zafar’s Bharat.
Deepika Padukone is busy with her own projects and might miss the party. Ranbir Kapoor, who acted with Chopra in Anjaana Anjaani, is in Bulgaria for Brahmastra shoot and Sidharth Malhotra is in Lucknow for Jabariya Jodi shoot. Since Shahid Kapoor had a history with Chopra, he too might give the party a miss. Rumours say the Bachchans, Khan family including Arpita Khan Sharma, Karan Johar, Manish Malhotra and Sanjay Leela Bhansali might attend the party.
Chopra and Jonas have been dating for the last two months and if reports are to be believed, the duo got engaged during Chopra’s birthday on July 18, 2018. Reports say Jonas had apparently shut down the entire Tiffany’s store to buy a suitable ring for his dear lady.
