Popular comedian and television actor Rajeev Nigam known for his bindaas and fun-loving personality lost his son Devraj on November 8, 2020. The Har Shaakh Pe Ullu Baithaa Hai actor took to his social media handle and penned a heart-wrenching post for his late son.
Comedian shared a photo of himself with his son Devraj and penned a note that read as: “What a surprise birthday gift… mera beta devraj aaj mujhe chod ke chala gaya.. bina birthday cake kaate… pagle aisa gift koi deta hai….” (What a surprise birthday gift… My son Devraj left me today.. without eating cake for birthday…. can anyone give such a gift…)

A few months back, in August, Rajeev lost his father in Kanpur.
Talking about his son’s health, a report in Times Now, stated that the comedian’s son Devraj had been unwell for quite some time. In 2018, he went into a coma. A journalist wrote, “Rajeev’s life took a drastic turn after his son went into a coma. He completed the shoot of Har Shaakh Pe Ullu Baithaa Hai with difficulty during those days. He even decided to put his successful career on the backburner and focus on his family and hence, he returned to his hometown to take care of his son.” The comedian at that time informed his fans about his son’s health condition was critical.
