Megastar Rajinikanth has a humongous fan following across the globe. The superstar is lovingly addressed as Thalaiva by his die-hard fans who bestow immense love on their idol. Last month the actor had left for a health check-up in the United States. He was accompanied by his wife Lata. Pictures of the superstar from the airport created a buzz on social media.
The Thalaiva is back in town, after spending a few weeks in the US for a general health check-up with his doctors at the Mayo Clinic. After getting his health check-up done, Rajinikanth spent a few weeks in the US and met a lot of his fans there. Pictures of the Darbar star with his fans went viral soon.
Rajinikanth landed in Chennai on July 9 at midnight. He took a flight to Doha, Qatar and from there, he took a connecting flight to Chennai. Photos and a video of Rajinikanth from the Chennai airport are going viral on social media.

Dressed in a blue shirt, black cap and a face mask Rajinikanth walked towards his car. He waved to the fans who gathered at the airport entrance to see him and thanked them.
After resting for a few days the actor will resume the shoot of his film Annaatthe. The movie also features Nayanthara, Keerthy Suresh, Meena, Khusbu, Prakash Raj and Soori. Annaatthe will hit the theatres on November 4.
