Superstar, Rajinikanth takes the second dose of the COVID-19 vaccine on Thursday i.e May 13. His daughter, Soundaraya took to her social media handles and shared the candid pictures as her father gets the jab. He received the vaccine dose at his residence.
Recently, Rajinikanth went back home (Chennai) after completing the shootings for his much-anticipated film- Annatthe in Hyderabad. Sharing the candid picture of her father, Soundaraya captioned her tweet post as, “Our Thalaivar gets his vaccine Let us fight and win this war against Coronavirus together.”
For the unversed, back in December Rajinikanth was hospitalized after there were fluctuations in his blood pressure. He was admitted to the Apollo hospitals in Hyderabad. Soon after the recovery, he took the first dose of the COVID-19 vaccine.
According to the data issued by the Health Ministry, India reported 3,62,727 fresh Coronavirus cases, 3,52,181 discharges and 4,120 deaths in the last 24 hours. Maharashtra, Tamil Nadu, Karnataka, Gujarat, Delhi and few other regions have contributed with the highest number of cases in the second wave.
