We may be very excited for Deepveer but Ranbir Kapoor and Deepika Padukone have a sizzling chemistry together and whenever they share screen space, they create magic. Films like Bachna Ae Haseeno, Yeh Jawaani Hai Deewani and Tamasha are classic examples of how the duo has created magic on screen and left the audiences spellbound.
In the first episode of Karan Johar’s chat show, Koffee with Karan, the show host dropped a big hint when he said that Ranbir Kapoor and Deepika Padukone are reuniting for a film, which is a big budget project.
As per a report in Bollywoodlife, the film will be a two-hero project.
The yet-to-be-titled film also stars Ajay Devgn and will be directed by Luv Ranjan. It will be co-produced by Bhushan Kumar’s T-Series along with Luv Films.
However, the lead actress opposite the Singham actor has not been finalised yet.
The film is touted to be a light-hearted romantic entertainer and will go on floors in 2019. It is expected to hit the screens in December 2020 during the Christmas weekend.
On the work front, both Ranbir and Deepika have had a phenomenal year, thanks to the success of Padmaavat and Sanju. While Ranbir is shooting for Brahmastra with Alia Bhatt, Deepika is prepping for her wedding with Ranveer Singh. She will be seen in Meghna Gulzar’s next film and will essay the role of an acid attack survivor.
