Owing to the pandemic Coronavirus outspread, several production houses delayed the release dates for their upcoming films. Among the much awaited big banner films include Ranbir Kapoor starrer Shamshera, which is bankrolled by Yash Raj Films. On The special occasion of Ranbir’s 39th Birthday today, the makers inveigled official release date for the film i.e. March 18, 2022.
Ranbir Kapoor garnered many accolades for his stunning transformation in Rajkumar Hirani’s film, Sanju, which was based on the real life story of Sanjay Dutt. It also featured Vicky Kaushal and went on to become an instant hit at the box-office. Ranbir’s is expected to flaunt a never-before-seen avatar in Karan Malhotra’s directorial, Shamshera. On his Birthday today, Yash Raj Films officially unveiled the first look posters. “The legend will leave his mark,” YRF captioned the poster. RK looks fierce in the first look poster.
Reportedly, Shamshera will see Ranbir as a dacoit carrying an axe and a quiver of arrows, who apparently emerges to be a hero as the plot keeps evolving. Earlier while mentioning about this film, Ranbir confessed to media that the film offered him to explore each facet that he always wanted to explore as an actor. Sanjay Dutt and Vaani Kapoor are also a part of this film.
