Due to the pandemic Coronavirus, the stars and the filmmakers are not travelling abroad very often. Thus the abroad shoot schedules are currently on hold. As per the reports, Ranveer Singh starrer ‘Takht’ is yet to complete its shoots, which was supposed to be shot in the exotic locations outside India. While the makers decide to keep the project on hold, we hear that the actor would be collaborating with producer, Karan Johar for yet another project.
According to a report in Pinkvilla, Ranveer Singh and Karan Johar to collaborate for yet another film. The filmmaker has decided to move ahead with another project that he has ready in hand. While talking about the project, a source informed them, “Karan was already working on another script from earlier this year, which he wants to direct. When the Corona outbreak started, Karan was already in talks with his team and then, he decided to go ahead with the second script he had in hand. The film is a romcom in the space that KJo specialises in.”
According to the portal, Ranveer Singh will be on board for the lead role in this project. The film will be a solo lead starrer unlike ‘Takht’, which features a huge starcast. The film will have the actor playing to the gallery. The actor and the filmmaker discussed the idea, and apparently he liked it. Everything is in place and the duo might soon come up with a schedule to shoot this film.
Ranveer Singh on the other side is currently gearing up for the release of his cricket drama, 83. The film is being helmed by Kabir Khan and it also feature Deepika Padukone alongside an ensemble cast. The actor will be seen enacting Kapil Dev, while DP will be seen as Romi Dev.
