Days after he quit the biopic of an astronaut Rakesh Sharma which has been titled ‘Saare Jahan Se Accha’, Shah Rukh Khan has walked out of the franchise of actor-filmmaker Farhan Akhtar’s Don 3 or Don: The Final Chapter!. Shah Rukh, who was last seen in Anand L Rai’s ‘Zero’ which also starred Anushka Sharma and Katrina Kaif, has not yet reacted to this news.
If reports are anything to go by, Shah Rukh Khan will no longer be a part of Don: The Final Chapter, as the energetic actor Ranveer Singh has been approached for the same role. According to a report in Mumbai Mirror, SRK has opted out of Don 3 for personal reason.
It is to be noted that Zero star had been roped in for Don 3 a few days back but the film had been delayed at the scripting stage. According to the leading tabloid, Zoya Akhtar, who has recently launched her production house, is in talks with her Gully Boy Ranveer Singh to replace Shah Rukh Khan as the new Don!
If this report turns out to be true this could be bad news for Shah Rukh Khan fans but it will be good for Ranveer’s fans. Shah Rukh has previously walked out of Saare Jahan Se Achcha, which was earlier supposed to be done by Mr perfectionist Aamir Khan. There are reports doing the rounds that Ranbir Kapoor will be essaying the role of Indian astronaut Rakesh Sharma.
Shah Rukh was recently in London, during the brief visit he gave an interview to BBC Asia, wherein he said, “My next role will be as sexy as my last one. So you want me to be a sexy father, a sexy hero, sexy whatever you want me to be. My next role will be as sexy as you want me to be.” Well, well!
