The most loved couple of B-Town is all set to tie the knot in Italy on November 14 and 15 as per Konkani and Sindhi traditions. But a day prior to their wedding, the couple who has been in a relationship since past six years, got engaged in traditional Konkani style.
As per recent reports, Deepika and Ranveer got engaged in a most romantic manner as just before exchanging the rings, Ranveer Singh displayed his romantic side. He went down on his knees and formally asked for Deepika’s hand in marriage. After her acceptance, the couple got engaged by exchanging rings in the presence of family and close friends.
The couple had flown down musicians from Mumbai for their sangeet ceremony and had much fun dancing to their popular numbers.
Ranveer Singh was in his element as he danced to the tunes of the Dholak and also sang ‘Tune Mari Entriyan’ for Deepika. As per reports, the actress was so overcome with emotions on receiving so much love from Ranveer that her eyes were soon filled with tears of joy. But the actor soon had her laughing and dancing with him, and the couple were also joined by their families on the dance floor.
Reports further suggest that Deepika looked stunning in an off-white ensemble whereas Ranveer was his dashing self in a Black suit.
Today, Deepveer will officially become Mr and Mrs Bhavnani as they tie the knot in traditional Konkani style. They will have a traditional North Indian wedding on 15 November.
