Taapsee Pannu’s sports film, ‘Rashmi Rocket’ has taken the OTT route and is set to be premiered on 15 October 2021 on ZEE5. The film also stars Priyanshu Painyuli and Abhishek Banerjee in the lead roles. Directed by Akarsh Khurana and produced by Ronnie Screwvala, Neha Anand, and Pranjal Khandhdiya.
Sharing the release date of the film on her social media handles, the ‘Pink’ actress wrote: “ये चुनौतियों भरी race शुरू हो चुकी है और अब रावण दहन पे ही आके रुकेगी । बहुत कुछ नष्ट करना है रश्मि को इस साल । Get ready to run with Rashmi in this race on and off the track. ‘Rashmi Rocket’ reportedly revolves around an athlete’s journey. The ‘Saand Ki Aankh’ actress wrapped up shooting for the film earlier this year in Gujarat. She had even taken to social media to announce the same. The film also features Shweta Tripathi and Supriya Pathak.
