Rhea Kapoor tied the knot on Saturday with long time beau Karan Boolani. The wedding took place at Anil Kapoor;s palatial bungalow in Juhu. It was attended by close friends and family. Guests at the wedding included Rhea’s cousins Arjun Kapoor, Khushi Kapoor, Shanaya Kapoor, Anshula Kapoor, uncles Sanjay Kapoor and Boney Kapoor, aunt Maheep Kapoor and close friends Masaba Gupta and Kunal Rawal.
The first pictures of the newlyweds have surfaced online. Rhea and Karan are seen sitting in the backseat of a car. Karan’s sister Karishma Boolani was seated in the front. Rhea was dressed in a red outfit with a hint of vermilion (indoor).
Rhea’s sister Sonam Kapoor and husband Anand Ahuja stepped out and posed for the paparazzi outside the residence. Sonam looked gorgeous in a turquoise blue Anarkali, while Anand looked dapper in a dark blue Indo-western outfit.
Rhea Kapoor’s father Anil Kapoor looked dashing in a Blue kurta and dhoti. He distributed sweets to the photographers stationed outside his residence. “Dil se de rahe hai, aashirwaad do, blessing do, aap logo ka good wishes, aap logo ka wishes, thank you so much, jaise Sonam (Kapoor) ko aapne wish kiya, aaj Rhea (Kapoor) ko wish kijiye, please.”
Karan and Rhea have been dating for over a decade now. They reportedly met in 2009, during the making of Aisha, on which he was an assistant director.
