Rishi Kapoor’s Daughter Riddhima Gets Permission To Drive 1,400 Km To Mumbai Amid Lockdown

Netizens were left in a huge shock upon learning that the veteran actor of Bollywood, Rishi Kapoor breathed his last on Thursday i.e April 30. Millions of his fans, including his co-stars and industry people mourn on his sudden demise. The actor passed away at a hospital in Mumbai and apparently he spent his last moments with his beloved wife, son and close relatives. The actor’s daughter, Riddhima couldn’t meet him during his last moments. As per the latest reports, Riddhima now has got the permission to travel to Mumbai amidst the Coronavirus lockdown.

Ranbir Kapoor’s sister, Riddhima is married to an industrialist and she lives in Delhi with her husband. She couldn’t meet her father before his last breath. As per several reports, she has asked the Union Home Ministry last night to grant her permission to fly to Mumbai by a chartered flight(she needs special permission to travel because of the pan India Coronavirus lockdown). Apparently, the permission to travel through a charter plane could only be given by, Home Minister Amit Shah.

Talking about the same, a senior police officer has informed NDTV that the Delhi Police has given her the permissions travel through road. The officer informed, “She sought permission late at night. We had it within minutes.”

Rishi Kapoor’s daughter, Riddhima will now have to travel via road to reach Mumbai to attend her father’s funeral. The approx distance from Delhi to Mumbai is 1,400 km, which precisely takes 18 hours of continuous journey to reach Mumbai. She doesn’t have another option of traveling, as the flights, trains and inter-state travel systems have been shut during the COVID-19 lockdown.
