WWE Survivor Series took pace November 24, 2019. In addition to RAW and Smackdown, NXT got to debut at this event which took place at Chicago’s Allstate Arena. Roman Reigns ultimately got the pin on NXT’s Keith Lee and had some words for him post-match.
The men’s elimination match included 15 fighters from NXT, RAW and SmackDown. The SmackDown team comprised of Roman Reigns, Braun Strowman, King Corbin, Mustafa Ali and Shorty G. The RAW team had the talents of Seth Rollins, Drew McIntyre, Kevin Owens, Randy Orton and Ricochet to its advantage. Team NXT meanwhile included Tommaso Ciampa, Damian Priest, Matt Riddle, Keith Lee, and Walter.
The finale of the match had a nail-biting finish. First, NXT’s Keith Lee pinned RAW’s Seth Rollins to eliminate Team RAW from the match. This left him facing down Roman Reigns from SmackDown. Reigns managed win the match after a good tussle.
After the end of Survivor Series 2019, the Big Dog has some words for the NXT superstar. Roman Reigns sent out a tweet to Keith Lee saying, “I’ll see you again big man.”
Triple H, WWE’s executive vice president, Talent, Live Events & Creative, also took to Twitter to applaud all the NXT superstars while specially singling out Keith Lee.
“Amazing performance by all the Superstars in this #SurvivorSeries match. Incredibly #NXTProud..@RealKeithLee stock THROUGH THE ROOF. #WWENXT #WeAreNXT,” Triple H wrote on Twitter.
Fans of Roman Reigns and Keith Lee will be hoping to see these two in in-ring action soon after the amazing showdown at Survivor Series.
WWE Universe also hurried to reassure fans that “This will NOT be the last time we see @WWERomanReigns and @RealKeithLee in the same ring.”
