The much-awaited show of the year, Bigg Boss 14 kicked started on Saturday. This season, we also saw, the television actress Rubina Dilaik as one of the contestants of the show, however, she was rejected by the toofani seniors– Sidharth Shukla, Hina Khan, Gauahar Khan.
Rubina started her acting career from the television show Chotti Bahu, in which, she played the role of Radhika Shastri, opposite Avinash Sachdev. The actress wanted to be an IAS officer and was also preparing for it, however, she got selected in auditions was held in Chandigarh. The show was one of the most-watched shows on TV and returned for season 2 in 2011, wherein the duo reprised their roles.
Later, in 2012, she was seen in Sony TV’s Saas Bina Sasural, in 2013, she was seen in Zee TV’s Punar Vivah – Ek Nayi Umeed opposite Karan Grover. Later, she played the role of Goddess Sita in Devon Ke Dev… Mahadev which also featured Mohit Raina and Mouni Roy and then in the fantasy sitcom Jeannie Aur Juju wherein she played Jeannie.
Later, after a gap of two years, Rubina played the role of a transgender woman, Soumya Singh in Colors TV’s Shakti-Astitva Ke Ehsaas Ki opposite Vivian Dsena.
