Sadak 2, Alia Bhatt‘s first collaboration with father Mahesh Bhatt is all set for its premiere on OTT. The makers of the much-awaited film shared the news on social media with a new poster. Sadak 2 will arrive on Disney+ Hotstar on August 28.
Taking to Twitter Alia Bhatt shared the good news with her fans. She wrote, “Sadak 2, the road to love streaming on @DisneyPlusHotstarVIP from 28 August.”
She has also shared a new poster of the movie that showcases her with Sanjay Dutt and Aditya Roy Kapur, walking on a highway, facing a mountain. While Alia is seen carrying a backpack, Aditya Roy Kapur has a guitar in hand. Sanjay Dutt on the other hand is seen walking with his swagger.
Sadak 2 is a sequel to the 1991 film by Mahesh Bhatt. Sanjay starred in the first installment with Pooja Bhatt. The sequel also stars Pooja Bhatt, Jisshu Sengupta, Makarand Deshpande, Gulshan Grover, Priyanka Bose, Mohan Kapur, and Akshay Anand.
The Alia Bhatt and Sanjay Dutt starrer is the latest title to join the ever-growing list of films opting for a digital release. This is due to the COVID-19 pandemic that has brought the world to a standstill and hit the entertainment industry too.
