‘Housefull 4’ stars were busy shooting for the final song of the movie when they received a pleasant surprise. Yes, Akshay Kumar, Riteish Deshmukh, Bobby Deol, Kriti Kharbanda, Rana Dagubatti, and Pooja Hegde were in for a treat as Salman Khan, Vidya Balan and cricketer Shikhar Dhawan paid them a visit.
As reported by a source to Mumbai Mirror, “Salman Khan dropped by to meet Housefull producer Sajid Nadiadwala. They were soon joined by Bobby and Riteish. Salman returned to the studio two days later and met Sajid again. On the final day of the shoot, Vidya Balan also sashayed by to meet Akshay. Soon Kriti, Bobby, Pooja, Riteish, and Kriti had strolled across and it was an unplanned guftugu.”
The report added, “The first among many was cricketer Shikhar Dhawan. He was given a behind-the-scenes experience of how a film is made. He’s friends with Akshay, who’s a cricket buff, and the two discussed the sport at length before Shikhar left with everyone’s best wishes for the upcoming Cricket World Cup.”
The entire team is busy shooting for a song that features Nawazuddin Siddiqui as an exorcist. He has joined the Housefull 4 gang,500 background dancers and a 100-skulls for a special song. Portions of Housefull 4 are set in 16th century and Akshay plays a king in that sequence. This will reportedly be about the characters’ past lives and will be shot in Rajasthan. The movie will release around Diwali.
On the work front, Akshay Kumar also has ‘Good News’, ‘Mission Mangal’ and ‘Laaxmi Bomb’ in the pipeline.
