Popular South star Samantha Akkineni has a huge fan following on social media. The actress who is quite active on the internet recently garnered 16 million followers on Instagram. The Ye Maaya Chesave actress soon took to social media and shared a special post celebrating it. Sharing a small clip marking the milestone that has the number 15 flying up and being replaced by number 16 with million written under it.

She also shared a video-post of an Instagram page to give a peek into her mood in the morning, when she crossed 16 million followers. In the video, a little girl can be seen dancing in joy. Sharing the video on her story, the actor wrote, “My mood this morning”, along with a smile-emoji-in-sunglasses.
In February Samantha’s Instagram handle had garnered 15 million followers. The Eega actor had shared a video message on Instagram to thank her fans.
On the work front, Samantha Akkineni has a bag full of lucrative projects in her kitty. She will be seen in Shaakuntalam playing the role of Shakuntala. Malayalam actor Dev Mohan will be seen in the role of King Dushyant. Directed by Gunasekhar, Shakuntalam is based on Kalidasa’s epic Sanskrit play Abhijnana Shakuntalam.
Samantha also has a Tamil film, Kaathuvaakula Rendu Kaadhal, directed by Vignesh Shivan. Also a horror film with director Ashwin Saravanan. She will also mark her digital debut with Amazon Prime Video’s popular series The Family Man’s second season. The web-series will be available on the streaming platform in the summer of 2021.
