In December 2020, Samantha Akkineni joined the sets of the upcoming Tamil romantic comedy ‘Kaathu Vaakula Rendu Kadhal’ which also stars Vijay Sethupathi, Nayanthara, and will be director Vignesh Shivn. Earlier today, a few hours back, Samantha shared a new poster of the film.
Sharing the poster, Samantha also shared her excitement on working with Nayanthara and Vijay, “I’ve always wanted to work with the fierce #Nayantara and the mighty @actorvijaysethupathi 🤩.. so I can’t tell you how much of a ball I am having working with the both of them together #kaathuvaakularendukaadhal .. Midway through shoot and I can safely say this one is going to be a riot ❤️@wikkiofficial you rocking this party 🎉,” she captioned the post.

‘Kaathu Vaakula Rendu Kadhal’ is one of the much-awaited Telugu-Tamil films that the audience is looking forward to. The project marks the reunion of Vignesh, Vijay Sethupathi, and Nayanthara after their previous outing ‘Naanum Rowdydhaan.’ This marks Vignesh’s fourth directorial, whereas, this film will mark the first time association of the three actors. produced by Dhanush’s Wunderbar Studios. The film was officially announced on 14 February 2020.
Directed by Milind Rau, the film is reportedly an official remake of the Korean thriller Blind (2011)
