The newest diva in Bollywood, Sara Ali Khan has been in the news for various reason predominantly for her stellar performances in Kedarnath and Simmba. After seeing her acting skill in both the films, she has been approached for many movies including Vicky Kaushal’s starrer Shaheed Udham Singh biopic, but she reportedly rejected that for ‘Love Aaj Kal 2’ featuring her date crush Kartik Aaryan.
According to Deccan Chronicles, Sara Ali Khan did not find Vicky Kaushal starrer as creative as ‘Love Aaj Kal 2’ and that could be the reason she declined to work in Shaheed Udham Singh biopic. Sara wanted to do roles which would offer her more creative space and since the role in Udham Singh biopic didn’t give her much opportunity to explore herself as an actor.
Prior to ‘Love Aaj Kal 2’, there were reports doing the rounds on social media that Sara Ali Khan was approached for Tiger Shroff starrer ‘Baaghi 3’ but she turned down that too. There are reports also saying that the dates of ‘Uri’ actor starrer were clashing with Sara and Kartik’s upcoming film hence she declined to say yes.
It is to be noted that Sara and Kartik are currently in Delhi shooting for ‘Love Aaj Kal 2’, and many pictures and videos from the sets are going viral on social media. Recently, a picture had surfaced on the internet in which Sara Ali Khan and Kartik Aaryan were seen indulging in a conversation on the sets. Before that, a kissing scene from the movie between Sara and Kartik also went viral.
Announcing Udham Singh’s biopic, Vicky Kaushal had said that its an absolute honour to be roped in to play Shaheed Udham Singh, in his biopic.
