The handsome hunk of Bollywood, John Abraham is set to treat his fans with the much-anticipated patriotic film, ‘Satyameva Jayate 2’. Due to the COVID-19 situation, the film’s production was stalled. But now the actor treated his fans with the release date and a new poster of the film.
John Abraham took to his Twitter handle and shared the new poster of the film. The actor can be seen flaunting his six-pack abs, as he resembles Yamraj while the tri-colored blood oozes from his wounds. “Jis desh ki maiyya Ganga hai, wahan khoon bhi Tiranga hai! #SatyamevaJayate2 in cinemas on 12th May, EID 2021,” he captioned the post.

‘Satyameva Jayate 2’ is the sequel of the 2018’s film which was titled the same. While the plot of the prequel was set in the backdrop of Mumbai. The upcoming flick is apparently set in Lucknow. While talking about the film, Madhu Bhojwani had informed Mid-Day, “We had earlier conceived it as a film that could have been shot in Mumbai. But as the story developed, we realised, it lends itself beautifully to Lucknow. It was a creative decision.”
