Second Film Based On Sushant Singh Rajput Announced

The tragic demise of Bollywood actor Sushant Singh Rajput has left fans and family in shock. As friends and colleagues are trying to cope with the loss of the actor. A couple of film-makers have expressed their interest in making a film based on Rajput’s life. After a film on SSR, was announced last week, another is reportedly in the works.

Earlier, director Shamik Maulik had announced that he will be making a film on Sushant’s life, titled ‘Suicide or Murder: A Star Was Lost’. It will be bankrolled by Vijay Shekhar Gupta. We now have Filmmaker Sanoj Mishra announcing a second film on the late actor.

As reported by sources to Hindustan Times, Filmmaker Sanoj Mishra has announced his film and titled it Sushant. The filmmaker has clarified that it is not a biopic but is a story of strugglers who reach Mumbai in the hope of fulfilling their dreams.

Director Sanoj Mishra said, “This film will be the story of all those who are forced to take harsh steps in Bollywood due to harassment. This film will be produced under the banner of Road Production and Sanoj Mishra Films and will be shot in Mumbai and Bihar.

Mishra also mentioned that since much of Bihar’s talent had returned back home due to the pandemic it is an ideal time to make the film. He added that it is also a golden opportunity to develop the cinema industry in Bihar and Uttar Pradesh.

Sanoj Mishra has previously worked on films like Lafange Nawab, Gandhigiri, and Srinagar.
